The Ultimate Springtime Felted Bag
Look at Robyn's felted bag creation! It screams of spring and we can't take our eyes off of it. What a great idea to use black as the contrasting backdrop for bright springtime flowers. Robyn made the purse body from 100% wool using the Ruffles to Riches pattern from Martingale Press, Pursenalities. She replaced the ruffle with felted flowers & leaves from the Two Old Bags, Wooly Embellishments pattern.

Rowan Spring Yarn Arrives
Rowan has done it again with a stunning spring collection. Everyone at the shop is working up designs from the book, A Midas Touch using Rowan's Glimmer Print. Glimmer Print is a cotton acrylic blend tape with random splashes of gold "painted" onto the yarn. Louise made the herring bone tank top which is on display at the store. Nancy is whipping up the vest with a single waist tie and Anne is doing the front tie top in black.
We love the Natural Silk Aran which has a linen blend in a twisted tweedy effect. It is elegant and casual at the same time.
Summer Tweed has is offered in a new set of colors to broaden this timeless yarn for another year.
You'll have to come by the shop or call since these yarns are so new they are not yet on the website.
